Matt is my protege'. I guess growing up he would always play with his mom's camera. Well when I started coming around with my my camera he would get his mom's camera out and try to take pictures with me. This turned into me picking him up we would go shoot for a couple hours, come back and edit together and I would teach him everything I knew. Well as much as I taught him he taught me. I knew the tricks and the rules of photography but he understood angles and would pick up on little nuances I would miss. Matt entered in his first competition a few weeks after we started doing photography together and his first competition he came in 1st in his section, and 2nd over the whole thing. The dude has natural talent and passion for photography that inspires me. I can't wait to see what he does with it because for sure his future will be bright.
